Sassy in Ochre

This new faux leather skirt has me feeling all kinds of sass! Partner it with my new favourite autumnal colour and I’m strutting the London streets like it’s a catwalk!

As many of my dedicated readers know, I started a new job recently and it has meant that posting has been harder. I absolutely love my new job but it’s full-on! When the weekend comes around, I am ready to curl up on the sofa and binge watch crap TV. This photoshoot came at the perfect timing because it was time for me to rummage to behind the chunky knits and grab the faux leather and heels. I mean, am I even Emma Sales if I haven’t worn heels in two weeks?! My poor babies have been neglected!

This season everyone is going mad for ochre, it is everywhere and it scream Autumn! I’ve already mentioned this top on the blog, but I’m loving it so much that it’s here again – A first for Precious Needs!

Last time I partnered it with a short faux leather skirt but this time I wanted to sass it up! I knew the skirt I wanted to pair it with, but could I find what I was looking for – NO. That is until I clocked this beauty.

This skirt is exactly what I had in mind and it fit beautifully! So, I bet you’re wondering where I got this from… OASIS! They have pulled it out the bag and I really love this item!

The great thing about a black pencil skirt is that you can literally style it with anything! Oversized jumper, bodysuit, shirt, t-shirt – you name it, I bet it will look fabulous!

I also recommend investing the in ochre trend, if you haven’t already? I’m telling you – It’s in!!!

If you don’t think you can brave an all out yellow jumper, add it in subtly?

Jumper – Marks & Spencer // Skirt – OASIS // Shoes – Brian Atwood // Bag – FolliFollie

I like to mix materials, so I partnered the faux leather with pony hair heels and they made for the perfect pairing. It felt good to be dressed up and feeling fancy and these shoes are always my go-to!

To add to my more glammed up feel, I’ve had my hair coloured! I don’t think I’ve coloured my hair for about 6 years but I felt it needed a little spruce up. I opted for some subtle balayage through the ends and I bloody love it!

So I bid you a sassy hair flick goodbye – See you for the next one, and I hope you’ve added a hint of ochre to the wardrobe 😉

Love Life,

Emma xxx

That colour looks great on you! I’ve always wanted to own a leather skirt, it looks very classic with this ensemble xx
