Last Friday I made the most of my 4pm finish and I treated myself to a little treat. I have heard a lot about the salon Duck & Dry and it really didn’t disappoint.
DUCK & DRY
Duck & Dry has just opened it’s doors in Oxford Circus and is just a short walk from my offices. It opens at 7.30am during the week, which means I can easily fit in a mid week pamper!
I popped in that morning before work and booked a gel nail appointment for after work. An OPI gel nail appointment is only 15mins long, so easy to fit into your busy schedule. They don’t seem to advertise the nail side so much and online is all about the hair, but the nail bar there is really good. Although the appointment is only 15mins, I still think that £20 in central London is reasonable.
If you know me, you will know that I do gel nails on the side of my full-time job. Usually I do my own gel nails but I just fancied a treat, and as I have nearly managed a whole month without buying clothes… I thought TREAT YO’SELF!
This genius business is now open in Oxford Circus, Chelsea and Soho. They welcome walk-ins and I really recommend popping in!
The interior in the Oxford Circus salon is so beautiful, they have done it really well. It’s very instagrammable and the blow dry bars have their own little pods.
They use OPI products, which as a qualified beauty therapist – I really recommend.
Due to the great value for money, the service, the fact it’s so close to work… I will definitely be going back. Who knows, maybe next time I’ll treat myself to a blow dry!
