Something to Bark about

This week I am starting my new role as an Intern in the city. This has me feeling all kinds of feelings but mainly extremely excited. I’m even looking forward to commuting into London, which I’m sure won’t last long.

As it is only a 4 week internship, I tend to make the most of being in London each day. I want to try new places to eat and drink and go to as many evening events as I can. But for now, I want to talk to you about mine and Ed’s new favourite place.

WOOF COFFEE

This little coffee shop is a firm Sunday favourite for us. It lies on the outskirts of London, in Teddington. People have been raving that their coffee is the best in London and while I can’t vouch for that due to not loving coffee, I can say that we love it there. Those of you that know Ed will know that he is very fussy, and the fact that he goes there with or without me to get his fix… should tell you everything you need to know.

“Woof Coffee is committed to providing the best coffee experience in London by offering out-of-this-world delicacies such as specialty coffee, premium loose leaf teas, single estate chocolate and the tastiest dishes.

We select our coffee beans from the finest roasters in the world who trade directly with farmers in the tropics.

A leading UK Master Tea Blender blends our premium teas.

To sit alongside your coffee we have handmade artisan cakes and breads.

At Woof Coffee, freshness of product is of paramount importance and we strive to deliver the finest experience to every customer.”

Their chocolate can be traced to the farm where the cocoa is grown and their water is filtered to an optimum balance of minerals in order to maximise the quality of the brews.

They also boast that their milk, fruit and vegetables, are sourced from English producers that farm organically.

THE EXPERIENCE

We are very predictable, I always have the hot chocolate as it is simply delicious and Ed has a latte. Our drinks always come with beautiful artwork on the top and they also come with a mini handmade cake.

The staff are extremely friendly and also very knowledgable about what they do. It feels very family orientated and I just love the atmosphere in there.

When you order you drinks, you also get some flavoured water delivered to the table. Slices or orange and lemon mean that you get a great refreshment for the hotter months.

I’m yet to eat at Woof… Well other than their amazing cookies! Each time I visit I end up getting food envy from the tables around me. Smashed avocado being my personal favourite to stare at! I’m definitely going for brunch next time!
