Love her a Lottie

If you read my recent Wimbledon blog, then you will have already had a glimpse of my new baby. I’m completely obsessed with her and rarely leaves my side!

I had touched on how I came to buying this bag in the Wimbledon blog, but I wanted to go into more detail and dedicate an entire blog to her… Yes, I am referring to my bag as a her!

“The darling chic Small Lottie Bag is a surprisingly roomy chain handled bag that can be worn cross-body or double the chain and it slips elegantly over the shoulder.

Handmade from the finest soft taupe pebble textured Italian calf leather, the signature grosgrain lined interior features an open pocket for your mobile, a zipped compartment for cards and a compact main compartment to accommodate a small purse, keys and make-up essentials.

Finished with our signature letterbox closure, protective base feet and iconic leather plaited gold tone metal chain, the ultra-versatile Aspinal Small Lottie Bag will take you anywhere from the school run to the red carpet.”

I have been wanting the Lottie bag for quite some time now. It’s one of Aspinal’s signature bags and so therefore I was in no rush because it’s always there.

I saw a preview of the next season and I saw they are bringing out the Lottie bag in velvet – you guys know I’m a sucker for these materials.

I thought I would wait until August and then invest in the black velvet Lottie bag. Time passed and I didn’t think about the Lottie bag for the current season, I didn’t even check the seasonal colours because I knew I liked the velvet.

I picked up a beautiful white dress from Karen Millen and I knew I wanted to pair it with my Gucci Marmont shoes.

I wanted to find a soft pink bag that would match my shoes, so I went on a little internet search. I’d just been paid and so I was feeling a little spendy. I definitely had not intention of hundreds of pounds though. As I was browsing the web I received an email from Aspinal. SALE!!! I quickly clicked on, just to ‘browse’, obviously. Then I saw the gorgeous Lottie in dusky pink.

Instantly I fell in love the the colour and size. Originally £425 reduced to £297. I felt very tempted and then I saw “One Left in Stock”.

Before I knew it, I had added it to my basket, desperate to get the last one. I did panic at the time, thinking that I didn’t need that bag. Do we ever need that bag though?

I got amazing customer service from Aspinal of London. I had an email confirming order but not confirming the stock levels, so there was a chance I hadn’t got the bag.

The next day I contacted them and asked about the bag. They responded instantly and not only confirmed I had got the bag, but also put it on next day delivery! They appreciated the not knowing suffering! Haha!

The bag is absolutely stunning and I am so happy I panic bought. The light pink seems to go with everything this season and the bag is constantly by my side.

I went for the small Lottie and it is actually perfect for day-to-day use. I can’t fit my camera in there but everything else from my usual bag fits in.

You have a middle size pocket and then two compartments. This fits my sunglasses case, some make-up and a travel size perfume… Obviously my phone and car keys too.

I have been so pleased with this bag and Aspinal of London gives the the luxury quality without the High End luxury price tag that bags usually are.

This is my second bag from Aspinal and I have no complaints. Excellent service and excellent quality!

The Lottie bag comes in lots of different colours, materials and sizes, so have a look and see if there is one for you.

Love Life,

Emma xxx
