Although my boyfriend is not a fan of this outfit, I am particularly loving it at the moment! I have done my favourite thing and that is teaming High Street pieces with luxury accessories, to create an effortlessly chic look.
This is my first ever gingham print – and I call myself a fashion blogger?!
This skirt was an absolute steal! I purchased it from New Look, as soon as I saw it I loved it. The style is so different and very elegant. It cost me £24.99 and is now in the sale for £13.00 (it’s currently out of stock online). I think you’re going to have to go and hunt this one down in your nearest New Look!
The waistband is elasticated at the back but also has a side zip, not sure why it needed both but it creates an odd shape. It slightly puffs out on the hips and if it were a little neater it would make this skirt perfect. I still love it, but that’s one thing that annoys me about the piece.
The skirt has a slit that comes up the side, to show a little bit of leg. It then has a beautiful ruffle detail, which makes me want to dance!
This skirt has definitely started my love affair with gingham, I want a dress next!
I’m obsessed with this jumper… So obsessed that I’m placing my next order. The jumper is from an online brand called Joanie Clothing. They have a very vintage style and I have to tell you that the quality of these pieces are exceptional. The jumper is so soft (I’m yet to wash it because of this)! I’m hoping that the softness will last, it just feels so luxurious against my skin. Another great point about this piece is that I got it in their sale for just £28!!!
They do lots of slogan tee’s and jumpers and I really recommend them as a brand. Shopping with them was simple and plain sailing.
They currently have their sale on, so go now to pick up a great deal!
I partnered my bargain outfit with slightly more pricey accessories but I do believe both brands are currently in sale. For more details about my shoes and bag, they have their own blog post designated to them – BAG / SHOES. I also had my pandora bracelet on, something I’m looking forward to wearing more when I no longer have to wear uniform to work.
