I finally visited, blogger hotspot Peggy Porschen and it did not disappoint!
*Taken on my iPhone*
If you haven’t heard of Peggy Porschen, then I can only put that down to the fact that you don’t have an Instagram account? Peggy Porschen is one of the most (if not the most) instagrammed bakery’s in the UK. Known for its pastel pink exterior and ready-to-eat cupcakes, this place can not be missed!
In the heart of Belgravia, a short walk from Sloane Square, lies this perfect pastel bakery. It is even more beautiful and instagrammable right now due to Chelsea Flower Show. The shop is supporting the event with the most beautiful door decoration that’s just longing to be photographed! They are also currently running a competition to win a Pashley bicycle… this is my dream bike! They have named it Peggy Pink and they are giving one lucky winner their very own!
On arrival, we managed to grab a table outside due to someone just leaving – perfect timing or what! We were also blessed with amazing weather and found ourselves sitting in T-Shirts at 5pm! The weather has been phenomenal this week in London!
I popped inside to pick my cake of choice… there was A LOT of choice. Everything looked so good, so I asked for her advice. In the end I went for a slice of the Strawberry & Champagne cake accompanied with some pink lemonade. It honestly was like a little slice of heaven. Next time I go I definitely want to try their summer cupcakes, they look mouth-wateringly beautiful. Check out the cupcake collection here.

If you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t you should change that now). Then you may know that I have been trying to get my hands on the Oliver Bonas pleated skirt that Holly Willoughby recently wore. The power of Willoughby means that this skirt sold out almost instantly… and of course I wanted it!
Online had only a size 14 left and the 8’s were looking near on impossible to get your hands on. I set about my phone calls, calling the head office to tell me if anywhere had the skirt in a size 8. There seemed to be 4 shops in and around London, one of them being Richmond! I tweeted to check this was right and they put it on hold for me! I was so happy, but my happy story did not finish there.
They put it on hold for me until the weekend, but my weekend got so hectic that I didn’t think I would get the chance to pop in. I gave the store a call to see if I could pay over the phone – this wasn’t possible, but they were happy to hold it until the following weekend for me. The lady I spoke with was so helpful, I thought that by chance I would ask about another item that was sold out online. The sales assistant didn’t have any in stock but told me she could order one in from another shop, so that it would be ready for me to collect!
I really think they went above and beyond with helping me and they certainly have a new loyal customer in me. Anyway, the other item I picked up will be featured on the blog very soon (if you can’t wait, you may spy it over on Instagram)!
I want to style this skirt so many ways and I’m on the hunt for the perfect pink top, but for today I simply styled it with a basic Tee and my elegant Louboutin’s *All the heart eye emoji’s*
I also think this skirt will look amazing with a piece of knitwear, the only thing I would say is to ensure it is flattering. The skirt has an underlay, which makes it poof out at the hips, so partnered with the wrong top could make you appear larger than you actually are.
If you haven’t visited Peggy Porschen then I really recommend you do, I also think that you should all be shopping at Oliver Bonas. If you want that extra mile and that feel-good shopping experience… Richmond is incredible!
