Follie-ing Around

I hope you all had a fabulous bank holiday weekend and you’re all feeling refreshed. If you follow me on my other social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube… then you may have already seen my new purchase that I’m completely obsessed with!

You all know I invest in shoes, quite a lot but not so much bags. I do love luxury handbags, but they are just so much more expensive than luxury shoes. My Mulberry Bayswater is very special to me, and so I tend to use that all the time. I’m actually going to do a review on that bag soon because I have used it so much and owned it for many years.

I thought it was time I gave my Mulberry a break, I wanted something that didn’t replace it but made a fabulous addition to my small handbag collection. I wanted cross-body and I wanted it to be smaller than the Bayswater.

I’m in London a lot lately and so I needed a bag that I could keep close and didn’t weigh a huge amount…

Introducing the…

I have had my eye on this bag for sometime now. I loved the shape of it and I absolutely loved the price! It’s quite similar to the Chloe Drew bag except it doesn’t have the £1,140 price tag to match.

This bag is the perfect everyday bag for me. It’s a great size, and goes with everything. You have options with this bag too, you can wear it cross-body or you can use the top handle which is extremely fashionable at the moment. I keep finding myself holding the handle and looping the chain around my hand – I love that look. You can also just completely detach the chain if you prefer it without.

This bag will transition through the season really beautifully, but if you are after seasonal pieces, they often bring it out in different colours. They currently have this bag in black, pink and beige (which I’m currently lusting after).

This bag is £135, which for a great quality bag I think is a good price. FolliFollie is really pulling it out the bag lately – pardon the pun. They have some amazing collections and I am extremely impressed with this bag.

The Heart4Heart collection has a lovely meaning behind it too. Each item in this collection has four hearts on it, on my bag, they are on the opening lock. Each heart represents something, one for love, one for beauty, one for hope and one for promise – what a lovely sentiment.

This bag is a great size because although it isn’t massive it does hold enough for your day-to-day needs. My Olympus pen camera fits inside, along with my card holder, sunglasses and phone. This still leaves space for small things like lipstick and chewing gum. It has two side pockets, one has a zip and the other one is more of a slide pocket.

I can’t recommend Folli Follie more, from start to finish it was a pleasure. The website is easy to order from, they had dispatched the item within an hour and it was with me within 24 hours after dispatch! That was standard shipping which is free on any order over £50. I will certainly be shopping with Folli Follie again.

If you are interested in seeing this bag in more detail, I filmed an unboxing video giving my first impressions, you can watch it here or you can head straight over to their website here.

Love Life,

Emma xxx
