Dress for Tea

Dress – ASOS // Shoes – Camilla Elphick // Sunglasses – Ray-Ban

I’m keeping it short and sweet today you lovely lot!

I’m currently in Spain celebrating my birthday with my parents and Ed. I wanted to thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes, I had such a lovely birthday AND the sun was shining!!!

So, I started the day off early doing make-up for my lovely friend’s wedding and then I went for lunch in the sunshine with Ed (my partner). I decided to bring out my new tea dress to celebrate the sunshine. It was then on to a lovely dinner with all my grandparents – perfect!

(These photos were from lunch and not at all linked to the tea dress, but how nice is my new camera lens!!!)

I love this dress because you can wear it so many different way! In the morning I wore it with black tights and flat Calpierre shoes and then for lunch I teamed it with my favourite boots. In fact, I love these boots so much that I may have just bought another pair – they are in the sale, so how could I say no (Although I have just seen that they have gone down even more in the sale – Now just £59!! Don’t you hate it when that happens)!

This dress is from a brand called Pimkie. I haven’t heard of this brand before but since looking at the brand, I really like it. They follow the trends but for much more affordable prices.

I’m on the hunt for dresses like this at the moment because the team well with OTK boots, perfect for the transition into spring.

This dress was a steal from ASOS and when they sent me a Happy Birthday code, I couldn’t resist.

So as I’m keeping this short and sweet, I just want to share a few ways to style the tea dress that I’m obsessing over?

  •  Make it cool – Team with high tops and an oversized hat. I’m loving this more casual look lately, I think my brother must be rubbing off on me!
  • Transition it – Team with your favourite OTK boots to keep your legs warm but still rock spring dress. This look is super popular at the moment and it seems to be the go-to
  • Keep it smart/casual – With some black tights and cute flats, this look keeps you looking well put together without the effort
  • Dress it up – obviously my favourite. Get out your heels and show off those pins!

Love Life,

Emma xxx
