So we’ve found a new London hotspot! Hidden away, not far from Marble Arch is the gorgeous Churchill Bar. The Churchill Bar is part of the Hyatt Regency hotel.
It was actually a friend that found it and spotted their gorgeous winter terrace online. We decided to go on a blogging mission and after shooting in the cold, we headed here!
This bar was inspired by Winston Churchill (and his wife) believe it or not! It is famous for its award-winning cocktails and luxurious interior.
On arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. We requested the terrace because it is very Instagram worthy but when I saw the bar I was also a little in love with that. It was a wet London day and the terrace was cold and wet… the bar was warm, with the fires lit and the luxurious interior sitting pretty.
I kind of wanted to be inside, but the terrace was too stunning! As the weather was so gross, it meant we had the terrace to ourselves. This was a massive plus as we had a little photoshoot before eating!
I had an English Breakfast pot of tea to warm up and embraced the beauty of this hidden gem. It felt so bizarre being in busy London but being surrounded by tranquil bliss.
The staff were very attentive, opening the doors each time we approached and bringing hot water bottles to warm us up. Especially when I am wearing ridiculous attire like this.
This bar is more of a luxury treat and so prices reflect that. This place is not extortionate, however more than your standard bar because this is by no means standard.
Our fondue was shared between three of us and cost £17. The cheese and bacon fondue, which I am definitely going back for is £18.
We left absolutely stuffed and very satisfied.
WHAT TO EAT
OK, so there is no question about it, you need to have the fondue!
Not got a sweet tooth? That’s ok, order the cheese fondue… or be complete piggies and indulge in their Green & Blacks chocolate fondue – IT IS INCREDIBLE!
With pineapple, biscuits, strawberries and marshmallows there is something to satisfy all cravings. We tucked straight in and it was divine.
My inner child comes out slightly too, these forks made the whole thing that extra bit more fun and we had a good laugh at getting messy with it (due to me being a pig). Yes, I did leave the terrace with chocolate round my mouth and no, my friends didn’t tell me!
As I mentioned, the Churchill bar is very luxurious and cosy. Bookshelves line the walls and the chairs look like that could swallow you whole. The terrace was very different to this but still continued the luxe feel.
Furs covered the chairs with perfectly placed blankets. The terrace was sectioned off with winter trees and fairy lights, making you feel secluded from the outside world. Heaters are placed over the tables, meaning that you can enjoy the terrace all year round.
They have hot water bottles at the ready and everything is presented so beautifully, including them.

I absolutely have to tell you about this outfit because this skirt has had a lot of attention.
Before I go into detail, I just want you to have a guess at where you think it may be from… Take a minute and don’t cheat.
I saw this skirt on the lovely Holly Willoughby and I just had to have it, it’s so striking and my typical style. Midi-skirts are my thing! It fits beautifully and the thing I love about his brand is how they size very well. I think brands on the High Street have started to get very small (I hope so anyway) but this brand sticks to girl power and makes you feel good about yourself.
So, let’s see if you were right, this beautiful skirt is from… NEXT! I know, right?!
I really enjoyed my visit here and that is why I’m writing about it to share my experience with you all.
In conclusion, you need to visit the Churchill Bar, you need to eat the fondue and you certainly need this skirt in your life!
As always, let me know if you pay them a visit because I love hearing from you guys.
