Sadly for some, it is time for us in the UK to get the coats out. Summer is over and we are quickly breezing through Autumn! This boyfriend coat has to be one of my favourite coats at the moment.
If you are super observant, you may recognise this coat from this blog post earlier in the year. I won the chance to go and shop blogger Victoria from inthefrow.com‘s wardrobe. Victoria had teamed up with BHF and donated some of her lovely pieces.
This coat is in the wool blend which is £185, however they also do a non-wool alternative which is made from polyester and that was originally £125.00, it is now on sale for just £80! It is exactly the same coat but just two different materials.
That being said… I can not stress to you how gorgeously soft this coat is!
The softness of this delicious coat adds to make it so comfy and easy to wear.
The brand isn’t as well known as many, so the chance of bumping into someone in the same coat is slim… however it did happen to me!!! Luckily in Richmond, I think if you are going to bump into someone wearing the same outfit as you… then Richmond is a pretty good place. My partner found this hilarious as I had been banging on about how unique it was and that I hadn’t seen anything else like it.
The coat is a boyfriend style, so great for that relaxed fit. I actually bought it in a size 6 because it is oversized (and it was the only option I had).
The coat has dropped shoulders and a half belt, just for detail across the back. The coat has a very modern feel and the style is like nothing else I have in my wardrobe. It has pockets that are also lined with the really soft material.
There is just one single popper to keep the coat done up, this is really common with the boyfriend coat and helps to give it the relaxed fit.
HOW TO WEAR
I styled this coat with an all black outfit and my Gazelle’s but it looks great with everything.
I like to drape it over my shoulders when I wear a dress, I keep it undone for the stylish weekend look and then do it up to smarten up the whole look.
The stunning soft grey colour means that it can partner well with all colours and it really works well with an array of clothing!
